Paint With A Purpose was hosted on May 9, 2019. With over 200 attendees this event co-sponsored by Wingz and More and Heritage Event Space, Clean Slate was able to raise more than $300 in donations to help purchase winter outerwear and toiletries for the homeless citizens of the KC Metro Area.
Clean Slate Mobile Shower Unit hosted a 50/50 raffle during the event at the Heritage Event Space on February, 2019.
On September 24, 2019 we partnered with Project Homeless Connect KC during their annual event to provide services to those experiencing homelessness. During this event attendees were able to obtain vital documents, receive vision and dental services, employment and housing assistance and of course end the day with a long hot shower!
We were able to provide each client with a to-go toiletry bag and a gift certificate to a local laundromat to wash their clothes!
